Ronnie the Orange cat absolutely adores his days out on a boat, and we can't get enough of his adorable expressions.
In a video posted to TikTok, the sweet cat was captured taking in the beautiful day and the sea breeze while he spent the day out on a boat with his family. In the video, Ronnie was spotted with his eyes closed, tilting his head up slightly to enjoy the cool air and the beautiful day.
He kept slow-blinking and even squinted slightly to show just how content he felt out on the water with his family. The sweet video went massively viral online, with over 5 million likes and over 19 million views. People in the comments absolutely loved seeing the cat's reaction, with users commenting, "He is the vibe ✨" on the boat.
"Oh to be a cat on a boat… living the best life," another person wrote as Ronnie enjoyed his day out at sea. Others loved the "sweet" and "precious" moment, with some joking that the cat "can smell an eternity of dinners" from the ocean.
One even said that Ronnie's got "no bills, no rent, free food. [He only has to] sleep and enjoy this life."

How to keep your cat safe while on a boat
It's not totally unusual for cats to be found on a boat. According to the Adventure Cat organization, "ship cats served as handy mousers, and they were also revered as good luck charms."
So what are the things pet parents can do to keep their cats safe when on a boat? One of the biggest recommendations the organization has is to teach them basic clicker training and how to respond to the sound of your voice to keep them safe in an emergency. They also note that it's important to invest in a good life vest for a cat, in case there's an accident and they fall out of the boat.
"[Make sure] it’s a proper fit that will stay on should your kitty go overboard, but also doesn’t restrict movement," they explain. "The flotation device should also have a handle on the back between your pet’s shoulder blades, so that you can lift your cat out of the water by hand or with a hook."
Before taking a cat sailing, it's important to allow them time to acclimate to the boat while it's docked and to make sure you train your cat to swim, especially if they aren't afraid of water. It will also allow you the opportunity to understand your cat's behavior on a boat, especially if they get seasick.
"Sailing with cats provides companionship at sea, bonding opportunities, and many chances for photos of glamorous adventure cats enjoying the yacht life," they also add. "So having a cat on your boat might just put the wind in your sails."
