Devil Fruits are the cornerstone of the power system of One Piece. Introduced in the very beginning of the story, these Devil Fruits were shown to hold mystical powers that they grant to their eaters, and in exchange, take their ability to swim. Devil Fruits offer an array of abilities, and there is no power that one can imagine that they cannot grant. This is simply down to the fact that Devil Fruits actually stem from the imagination of humans, and exist as an alternate kind of evolution, as was confirmed by Vegapunk himself.
While all Devil Fruits are strong in their own ways, there are some that can be considered to be too powerful. In fact, there are quite a lot of Devil Fruits that can actually kill anyone in a single shot, and these are believed to be on a completely different level of power.
Mero Mero no Mi

The Mero Mero no Mi is an incredible Devil Fruit utilized by Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress. This Devil Fruit allows Hancock to petrify anyone who stands in her path, especially those who are attracted to her. That said, this Devil Fruit isn't limited to attraction, as it can even petrify inanimate objects.
The Mero Mero no Mi simply needs a single touch of the user to petrify someone. If hit with Mero Mero Mellow, then the user can turn their target into stone immediately. Only Hancock can undo this process of petrification, and this power is so strong that even Teach, a Yonko of the Sea, feared it and couldn't undo it.
Magu Magu no Mi

Essentially, anything inside his ROOM is like a patient on his operating table, and he can even manipulate the entire terrain as he wants. Law possesses tremendous strength inside his ROOMs, and now that he has Awakened his Devil Fruit, it can certainly kill in one shot, using the powerful abilities such as Puncture Wille.
Gasu Gasu no Mi

Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Nidhoggr

The powers of this Devil Fruit are such that it allows Loki to transform into the largest dragon in the world, called Nidhoggr, which is able to produce lightning. The lightning powers it offers can allow the user to destroy the whole world. With abilities such as Thorheim, the user can essentially kill practically anyone in one shot, and with repeated usage, even countries can be utterly destroyed.
Akuma no Mi

Introduced officially in One Piece Chapter 1179, the Akuma no Mi is a unique Devil Fruit. With no known classification, this Devil Fruit is among the strongest in the entire world, as it allows its user, Nerona Imu, to transform into the Devil God of the One Piece world.
Utilizing powers such as Demonic Contracts, it can turn anyone into demonic slaves, and it also allows the manipulation of a unique ability known as Omen or Maki. The firepower of this Omen is such that the vast majority can die in a single hit, and its powers simply cannot be matched.
