At 39, with 24 Grand Slam titles to his name, there is hardly anything left for Novak Djokovic to achieve in his illustrious tennis career. The Serbian was reminded of that reality once again after suffering a comfortable defeat to Sinner in the Wimbledon semifinals.

WTA star Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova recently shared her thoughts on the Serbian's future during an appearance on the Russian podcast More!. Speaking about Djokovic's incredible longevity, Pavlyuchenkova admitted that "he is a mystery."
"It's like he's not human. Who would have thought that he would still be playing at his age and reach the semifinals of a Grand Slam."
Pavlyuchenkova felt that reaching the final four at Wimbledon should not be viewed as a disappointing result for the former world No. 1. At the same time, she acknowledged that Djokovic may eventually have to decide how much sense it makes to continue playing if he is no longer winning the sport's biggest tournaments.
Despite that, she expressed hope that the Serbian would continue competing and entertaining millions of fans around the world for as long as possible.
With Carlos Alcaraz expected to return at the US Open, Djokovic's pursuit of a record-extending 25th Grand Slam title is unlikely to get any easier. Add Jannik Sinner to the mix, and the Serbian once again faces the daunting challenge of overcoming the two players who currently sit at the top of the men's game.
