With NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series prospect Layne Riggs waiting in the wings at Front Row Motorsports and no sign of improvement from the No. 4 Front Row Motorsports Cup Series team, it seemed like driver Noah Gragson would be job hunting at the end of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.
But according to Front Row Motorsports GM Jerry Freeze, that won't be the case.

"We want Noah back at Front Row, and I feel pretty good about it," Freeze said Wednesday on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. "We're working through the last details in his agreement. I look for something out of us in a few weeks on that. We believe in his talent. He won so many races at JR Motorsports and also at [Kyle Busch Motorsports] in the Truck Series.
"He got off to a rocky start in his Cup career at GMS and seemed to be on his way when he got to Stewart-Haas, and Stewart-Haas kind of went out from under him. We believe in Noah and look for him to be at Front Row for the foreseeable future."
Gragson is 31st in points through the first 21 races of 2026 and was 34th in his first year with FRM in 2025. 2026 is the first year in his four-year Cup career that he's driven for the same organization for multiple seasons.
Gragson is relatively popular with fans and is a talented driver, as evidenced by his abundance of success in the NASCAR Truck Series and O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. But whether he's a better option than a would-be rookie, either Riggs or fellow FRM Truck Series driver Chandler Smith, is debatable, as he's yet to show any consistent signs of promise at the Cup level with Front Row.
