(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 22 - INPS said Wednesday that the average monthly State pension paid to new women pensioners in the first half of 2026 was 1,048 euros, 30.41% lower than the average of 1,506 euros for men during the same period. (ANSA) - ROME, JUL 22 - INPS said Wednesday that the average monthly State pension paid to new women pensioners in the first half of 2026 was 1,048 euros, 30.41% lower than the average of 1,506 euros for men during the same period. The social-security-and-pensions agency said the difference for the whole of 2025 was 26.2%, with new women pensioners getting 1,047 euros a month, compared to 1,419 euros for men. On average, new pensions for men are nearly 90 euros higher than the equivalent period last year, while those for women have remained unchanged. (ANSA).
