Jonathan Greenard has never been to the Super Bowl, but he's adapting quickly to the championship culture the Philadelphia Eagles have set under Nick Sirianni.
The newest Eagles edge rusher explained how easy it has been for him to acclimate to their "infectious" and highly competitive environment since joining them via trade from the Minnesota Vikings.
Greenard was acquired by the Eagles from Minnesota for two third-round picks on April 24, then Philadelphia inked him to a four-year, $100 million contract extension. The 29-year-old had three sacks and 10 tackles for loss in 2025, after reaching the Pro Bowl in 2024.

Sirianni isn't for everyone, though current Eagles players seem to revere him. But the culture he has set — and that Eagles leaders like Zack Baun, Saquon Barkley, Jordan Mailata and others have upheld — has been easy for Greenard to follow.
"They're not going to settle for nothing less," Greenard told the Eagles website. "It's infectious, so you either get with the program or you get left. That's not hard for me. I just get out there and work my tail off with the boys."
It's safe to call the Eagles' culture the best that Greenard has played under. The edge rusher started with the Houston Texans after they chose him in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, then landed in Minnesota after signing a four-year, $76 million contract there.
Though he reached the playoffs in Houston in his final season there, then helped the Vikings go 14-3 and nearly claim the NFC's No. 1 seed in 2024, Greenard has seen the differences in Philadelphia.
"We work as a championship team," Greenard said. "Attention to detail is there, we are working our tails off. Even after practice, we're doing extra drills just to make sure we're all on the same page."

Greenard had a breakout year where he recorded 18 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and finished 11th in Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2024.
But Eagles fans could rightly be concerned about his production dip, especially since he is only 10 months from his 30th birthday next May. However, Greenard was injured last year and had to have a procedure on his shoulder in December, which ended his 2025 season.
But he expects to be ready to go at practice next week.
"I'm just working back in," Greenard said during June's minicamp. "I feel pretty confident. They have a good plan to get me back in and be ready to go for camp."
