Netflix's newest Harlan Coben adaptation has been tearing up the charts since its debut on June 19, and now, it's officially become one of the biggest streaming hits of 2026 after new data shared by the company has revealed just how many views it’s received so far. Starring Sam Worthington as a father wrongly imprisoned for murdering his son, the series also stars Britt Lower (Severance), Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us), and Erin Richards (Gotham).
Netflix's Harlan Coben Crime Thriller Is a Streaming Smash
Titled I Will Find You, the eight-part series is the latest in a long list of adaptations Netflix has produced that have been based on Coben's work. The Stranger, The Woods, and Stay Close are just a few that came before it, but this latest series has undoubtedly been the biggest of them all thus far.
Releasing their "What We Watched" report for the first half of 2026, Netflix has revealed that I Will Find You received 63.9 million views for the period ending on June 30, placing it third on their list of Top 10 TV Shows of the year behind His & Hers and Bridgerton Season 4. That's a tremendous accomplishment for the latest Coben series, especially when you consider it had only been out in the wild for 11 days before the first half of the year came to a close. To highlight its success even further, I Will Find You was watched for an astounding 350.5 million hours. Check out the full Top 10 below.
If that isn't enough to convince you that I Will Find You is a definitive global smash for Netflix, Nielsen has also released some data that might sway you. Per The Hollywood Reporter, I Will Find You racked up a massive 1.84 billion minutes of viewing time in the United States for the week of June 15–21, which just goes to show you how big the series has become.
All that being said, I Will Find You has drawn mixed reviews despite its global success. The crime thriller holds a 62% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and an audience score of 60%. Over on IMDb, the series is rated 7.1 out of 10, with some viewers calling it everything from "engaging" to "compelling," and others "mundane" and "far-fetched."
What Harlan Coben Novel Is Netflix Making Next?
Turning our attention to what’s to come, Netflix has revealed that they're developing a new series based on one of Coben's most popular characters: Myron Bolitar. The basketball star-turned sports agent first appeared in the 1995 novel, Deal Breaker, and since then, he's been in a total of 12 books. Playing Bolitar is Colin Woodell (Pulse, The Continental), with KJ Apa (The Map That Leads to You, Riverdale) also on board to star as Win Lockwood, and Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black, The Lincoln Lawyer) as Esperanza Diaz.
No release date has been set for the new series, but it will focus on Bolitar as he reinvents himself as a sports agent, "using charm, smarts, and a ruthless partner to navigate the high-stakes and dirty world of sports, where saving his clients often means risking himself." Unlike previous Coben adaptations, this one is expected to run for multiple seasons if it should prove successful for Netflix.
