Wilmer Valderrama just shared some exciting NCIS news.
As the CBS drama prepares to premiere its 24th season this fall, Wilmer shared on Instagram on July 15 that the NCIS cast gathered for the season's first table read. Meaning: New episodes will be coming sooner than we may think.
“Season 24,” he wrote in the caption alongside photos from the first day of production.
As soon as fans saw Wilmer’s unexpected update, they were elated on social media.
“This is huge. Congrats to all the cast and crew,” one person penned in the comments. “🔥🙌 Cannot wait!!! So excited,” another wrote. “Hurry up! TV is so boring with out my NCIS!” a different follower added.
It’s still going to be some time before we get to see what Wilmer and co. are up to for NCIS season 24. But luckily, he’s not the only cast member teasing what’s in the works.
Viewers also got to see Brian Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer, give clues on social media. He shared his own photos from the table read on TikTok.
“Season 24,” he wrote on July 15. “Time flies when you’re having fun. #season24 #ncis.”
After seeing this, can the NCIS premiere come any sooner?
