“My Grandfather Charles Manson” premieres around midnight tonight, on Wednesday, July 22, exclusively on Hulu, including for viewers who access Hulu through Disney+.
The documentary follows Sophia, a woman who believed she was simply searching for the identity of her unknown grandfather. Instead, her investigation leads to a shocking revelation: her grandfather was Charles Manson, the cult leader behind the notorious Manson Family murders.

Who was Charles Manson?
Charles Manson was an American criminal and cult leader who founded the Manson Family, a group that became infamous for a series of murders committed in Los Angeles in 1969. Manson was convicted of orchestrating the killings carried out by his followers, including the murders of actress Sharon Tate and several others. He died in prison in 2017 at age 83.
