As someone who was born and raised in New Jersey, Wawa brings back a lot of memories—and anytime we’d go down the shore, stopping in was a must. About half an hour into our drive, we’d swing by to fill up the gas tank and order lunch at the kiosk inside. Then, we’d walk around shopping for drinks, sunscreen, and other coastal necessities while we’d wait. Once our hoagies were ready, we’d go to the beach.
Wawa is primarily known for its classic hoagies, fresh coffee, and hot breakfast “Sizzli” sandwiches. But because locations are often attached to Wawa gas stations on the East Coast, they’ve become community hubs where people will stop by to fuel up before a beach or amusement park trip—making Wawa a quintessential summer memory for many.
Well, Wawa fans might love to know that the store just teamed up with Lands’ End to launch a fun beach accessory, and it’s called the Shorti Tote. The mini canvas bag features a bright red trim and handle, one of Wawa’s signature colors.
The tote includes both brand names, plus little images that fit Wawa’s beachy feel (like a camera and a colored-in hoagie). The bag measures 9 inches long and 8 inches tall, and it even has a drawstring with a stopper that helps keep your items secure.
Along with the tote, the collab released a graphic T-shirt that comes in unisex sizes S-XXL and a bag charm that’s inspired by hoagie toppings.
You can shop the entire collection starting July 22 on LandsEnd.com and select Wawa stores in New Jersey while supplies last. (Calling a specific location for confirmation might be your best bet.)
Now that I live in California, I might order a bag to keep as a memento of my home state.
