The Evernight Festival is a 3-day seasonal event in Moonlight Peaks, held on the 26th, 27th, and 28th Nights of Autumn every year. Hosted by Pumpkin Head, it is a Halloween-themed affair with boxes full of candies, minigames, and pumpkins galore.

Evernight Festival Overview in Moonlight Peaks

  • Luna’s Twilight Showcase
  • Jitterbug
  • Evernight Fashion Show
  • Pumpkin Dash
  • Evernight Shop
  • Candy Buckets

Event-Exclusive Vampsters:

During the Evernight Festival, look under the tree west of the Coffee and Coffins shop, behind the pumpkin decoration, and in the southeastern corner of the patio outside The Broken Lamp to find two Vampsters.

These two Vampsters only show up during the Evernight Festival. If you miss the chance to return them to their den in the Cave of Echoes, you’ll have to wait at least a year to get the opportunity again.

Luna’s Twilight Showcase

  • Location: On the pier north of Death’s Shack

Luna’s Twilight Showcase is an event where you can place up to 6 items on a table, and on the final night of Evernight (28), Luna will compare your submissions to what the other residents submitted, and the one she likes best will win the final award.

From our testing, the value of the items you submit is the deciding factor in whether or not you’ll win the event. So, take out your 2-star foods and crops and high-value items like Diamonds and Golden Eggs if you want to win.

  • First Place Reward: Evernight Coins x100

The items submitted for the Twilight Showcase cannot be reclaimed. After the event is over, they’re gone forever. Make sure you don’t submit something you aren’t comfortable parting with.

Jitterbug

  • Location: Heart Pier (Between Alvira and Samael’s House)

Jitterbug is a Match 3 minigame hosted by Elvira. The rules are simple: you move the critters around to match 3 or more of the same kind of bug in a straight line. Every time you do so successfully, the bugs explode, and new bugs appear at the top of the board to replace them.

The more bugs you explode, the higher your score gets. The timer in the top right corner dictates how long you can play for. Time can be added to this timer by playing the game, but it will drain faster and faster as time goes on. Once the timer runs out, the game ends, and you earn Evernight Coins depending on how high your score was. Every 10 score equals 1 Evernight Coin, so if you scored 60, you’ll get 6 Evernight Coins.

  • Rewards: Variable (depends on score)

Evernight Fashion Show

  • Location: Third Eye Threads (Night 27 of Autumn)

Hosted by Aras, the Evernight Fashion Show is held on the second night of Evernight. Here, Aras will request that you choose the makeup, clothes, and accessories for three models. How you choose to design the outfits doesn’t matter. Regardless of how the models are dressed, everyone will applaud, and the event will be a success.

  • Rewards: None

Pumpkin Dash

  • Location: Peaksview Park

Pumpkin Dash is a red light, green light mini-game, held in Peaksview Park, where Pumpkin Head takes on the role of the statue. When he turns away from you, you can walk or run in his direction, but you have to be completely still when he turns towards you. If he catches you moving, he’ll send you all the way back. The goal is to reach the Pumpkin Head’s location.

Walking is safer because your character stops moving as soon as you let go of the movement controls. Running, on the other hand, is obviously much faster, but the downside is that your character doesn’t stop immediately after you let go of the movement keys; the inertia makes them keep going for half a step, making this the high-risk, high-reward option.

  • Participation Rewards: Pumpkin Beanie
  • 1st Place Reward: Evernight Coins x10
  • 2nd Place Reward: Evernight Coins x5
  • 3rd Place Reward: Evernight Coins x1

There is no limit to how many times you can play Pumpkin Dash, and each win rewards you with the same amount of Evernight Coins. This is the main way you can earn Evernight Coins in the Evernight Festival, and since time doesn’t pass during the race, you can earn as many Evernight Coins as you need to clear out the Evernight Shop without worrying.

Evernight Shop

  • Location: Midnight Market

Talk to Sabrina in the Midnight Market to access the Evernight Shop.

Candy Buckets

  • Location: Town

Make sure to explore the town thoroughly during the Evernight Festival in search of these buckets to avoid missing out on any goodies.
