Body-cam footage shows Godfrey Forster-Davies, 26, screaming in terror and begging 'please help me!' when he was hunted down by the pooch called Yolo.

This is the moment the high-pitched squeals of a speeding driver caught by a police dog pierced the night after an 80mph car chase.

Body-cam footage shows Godfrey Forster-Davies, 26, screaming in terror and begging 'please help me!' when he was hunted down by the pooch called Yolo.

He had earlier led police on a dramatic high-speed chase through several Derbyshire towns on June 18 this year.

Officers had first spotted Forster-Davies driving a Ford Fiesta with a broken licence plate light just after 2.25am in Bolsover.

He failed to stop before reaching 80mph through 30 and 40mph zones, did not give way at junctions and drove on the wrong side of the road.

The pursuit continued through Bolsover, Shuttlewood and Clowne before Forster-Davies tried to flee on foot through nearby fields.

But he was quickly tracked down and detained by police dog Yolo and his handler PC Andy Shaw.

Body-cam footage captured Forster-Davies wailing for help while PC Shaw tells him: 'Mate, stop fighting the dog.'

Forster-Davies can be heard shouting in a high-pitched voice, 'Please, please, help me, help me, oh.'

PC Shaw bluntly replies: 'Mate, stop screaming.'

Forster-Davies, of Eckington, Derbys. appeared at Chesterfield Magistrates' Court on July 9.

He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving without insurance, failing to stop when required by a constable and driving a vehicle with a tyre which had the ply or cord exposed.

He will be sentenced at the same court on August 27.

After Derbyshire Police shared the footage on social media, one web user replied: 'I hope Yolo got extra treats that night. That squeal, lol'

Another added: 'screaming like a little girl' while another put 'well done to all involved and to Yolo for making the arrest and having to deal with those screams.'
