Mina Kimes reacted to Ryan Clark's firing from ESPN. He posted a "proof of life" video on Instagram on Tuesday, and Kimes dropped a three-word reaction in the comments section.
Clark started his clip with him dancing in a gym before performing some long bar squats. He also used the TRX, jumping while pulling it. The 46-year-old included his whole workout routine in the second slide.
The network parted ways with him more than 11 years after he signed to be an NFL analyst. Kimes kept her reaction simple but expressed support for Clark.
"Love ya bud," Kimes wrote.
Clark entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2002. He played for three franchises, including two stints with the then-Washington Redskins. The safety earned Pro Bowl honors in 2011 and won the 2009 Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He announced his retirement in February 2015.
The LSU product became a fixture on ESPN. He served as an analyst for its shows like "NFL Live," "SportsCenter," "Get Up!" and "First Take" before he was let go as part of the network's massive layoffs.
Kimes, on the other hand, is an Emmy-nominated analyst, podcast host and prominent TV personality. She often draws attention for her analysis and appearances outside the studio. The 40-year-old has been part of "NFL Live" since 2020 and has worked alongside Clark.
It remains to be seen what Clark will do next. However, he is expected to continue with his podcast, “The Pivot,” along with former NFL players Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder.
