Matt Rogers offered some insight into his split from Below Deck star Fraser Olender — hinting that there’s not any drama between them.
Rogers broke his silence on the breakup during the “I Don’t Think So Honey” segment of Wednesday’s Las Culturistas podcast episode, addressing how some publications “take pictures of couples that have broken up and do the Photoshop thing where it looks like the photograph has been ripped in half.”
He had to “pop off” for 60 seconds about the topic, which replaced a previously recorded “I Don’t Think So Honey.” (Rogers noted that in the podcast’s 10-year history, this was the “first time” they did a retake.)
“So honey, for me, it’s a little too dramatic,” Rogers continued. “I’ve never, personally, been in the position where a relationship has been so bad that I had to rip a photograph of us apart.”
Rogers did, however, admit that “most” of the photos he looks at are of a digital medium, which is how he saw this particular image of him and “someone that is very special” to him.
“Babe, you don’t know that it’s a rippable situation,” Rogers added. “It’s not, in this case. Not speaking about any particular, of course [laughing], but don’t rip me and and the boy in half, please.”
He concluded, “Everything is great and there’s no reason to rip photographs.”
PEOPLE confirmed last week that Rogers and Olender “mutually” parted ways months after taking their relationship public. Despite their breakup, the two “remain friends,” the publication noted.
Olender confirmed his relationship with Rogers by including a photo of the Las Culturistas podcast host in his BravoCon recap via Instagram in November 2025. At the time, Olender explained that he couldn’t make it to the third and final day of the fan convention in Las Vegas because of a health scare. Rogers was by his side.
“A very special human stayed with me until 5am whilst I laid there useless, attached to multiple machines and pumped with meds,” Olender captioned the post. “Sooo grateful for him, the nurses and the docs!”

The former couple did, however, experience some ups and downs in their short-lived romance. Rogers revealed during an April Las Culturistas episode that he and Olender were taking “a little bit of space.” They reconciled the following month. The duo made their red carpet debut at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles this past May.
