Lamb is hoping to replace Biggs in the seat, after the congressman chose not to seek reelection in order to run for governor instead.

Mark Lamb, President Donald Trump's pick to replace outgoing Arizona GOP Rep. Andy Biggs, won his primary Tuesday night for the Republican nomination for Arizona House District 5, despite sexual misconduct allegations.

Lamb, who previously ran against Kari Lake for the Republican nomination for Senate in 2024, won with 58% of the vote, compared to builder Daniel Keenan's 41%, according to the Associated Press.

The nominee has been accused of sexual misconduct and abuse of power after he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior, threatened women who spoke out and sent racist and homophobic messages, according to Arizona Family.

Lamb is hoping to replace Biggs in the seat, after the congressman chose not to seek reelection in order to run for governor instead. Biggs won his primary Tuesday night and will face Gov. Katie Hobbs in the general election.
