One killed in motorcycle on Sunday.

A 38-year-old Seattle man crashed into a sedan and died on Sunday afternoon.

A 38-year-old man who died after the motorbike he was riding hit a car and caught on fire in Parkland on Sunday afternoon has been identified.

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office list of decedents, the man was Tyrone M. Locke from Seattle.

A news release from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said Locke was riding an unlicensed dirt bike at a “high rate of speed” before crashing into a sedan with the right of way. The crash occurred at the intersection of 106th Street South and 19th Avenue Court South. Deputies were notified at 2:32 p.m.

Upon impact, both Locke and the dirt bike caught fire. A witness used fire extinguishers to put out the flames. The ME list notes that Locke suffered thermal injuries to 90% of his body.

Locke died the same day. The driver of the sedan was uninjured. No charges were filed.
