- Police treating man's death as suspicious
A man has been found dead outside a home as cops launch a murder investigation.
Emergency services were called to Graham Street in Broadmeadows, north Melbourne, at 3.30pm on Tuesday.
The man, 40, died at the scene, despite frantic attempts by paramedics to revive him.
Detectives and forensic officers spent much of the night examining the crime scene as a homicide investigation was launched. No arrests have been made.
'The exact cause of the man's death is yet to be determined but is being treated as suspicious at this stage,' a Victoria Police spokeswoman read.
Anyone with information or footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Neighbours told the Herald Sun that the property where the man's body was found had been vacant for some time before squatters recently moved in.
They claimed firefighters were called to a fire at the property hours earlier on Tuesday morning.
