Kylian Mbappé’s biggest headline this week wasn’t one of his two goals against England or France’s disappointing finish in the tournament. It was who he left a Miami nightclub with.
Just one night after France fell to England in the World Cup third-place match, the Real Madrid superstar was spotted entering LIV Nightclub at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hand in hand with Spanish actress Ester Expósito. According to the Miami Herald, the pair had dinner at nearby Papi Steak before heading to the club with friends, where they reportedly enjoyed a set by British DJ Cloonee.
And there are videos to prove it!
Footage circulating across social media showed Mbappé pulling Expósito close before dipping her and kissing her on the dance floor in full view of the crowd. If there was ever a moment which left fans wondering whether football’s most eligible bachelor was finally ready to go public with his love life, this was it.
So… was this finally the hard launch?
Neither Mbappé nor Expósito has publicly confirmed they’re a couple. But after months of speculation—and now some very public displays of affection—the Miami outing has fans asking the same question: is this the relationship rumor that’s actually real?
Who Is Ester Expósito?
If the Expósito name sounds familiar, you’ve probably seen her on Netflix.
The 26-year-old Spanish actress became an international star playing Carla Rosón on the hit series Elite before building a successful career in film, television and fashion. She has amassed more than 24 million Instagram followers and currently stars in Prime Video’s upcoming action thriller Drawn Together, based on Mercedes Ron’s bestselling novel Marfil.
Expósito has largely avoided discussing the rumors surrounding Mbappé. Asked about the speculation earlier this year, she told Europa Press, “I’m not going to say anything, but I’m doing great.” She also acknowledged in an interview with Le Parisien that attention surrounding her private life has become part of being famous, saying, “I don’t want it to overshadow my career.“
Of course, that’s done little to stop fans from trying to connect the dots.
Mbappé’s Dating Life Has Never Been Boring
For someone who guards his private life closely, Mbappé has never exactly shied away from the dating scene.
Over the years, the France captain has been linked to a string of high-profile women, including actress Emma Smet, Belgian model Rose Bertram and model Ines Rau. He’s been photographed on luxury yachts, at Cannes, in Paris and at exclusive parties with women who quickly became the subject of global dating rumors. While Mbappé has rarely confirmed any of the speculation, his romantic life has attracted almost as much attention as his exploits on the pitch.
One relationship, in particular, generated enormous conversation online.
In 2022, Mbappé was linked to Rau, the first openly transgender Playboy Playmate and a L’Oréal Paris ambassador. Photos of the pair together aboard his yacht and at the Cannes Film Festival spread rapidly across social media, fueling headlines and debate around the world. Expósito entered the picture earlier this year after the pair were reportedly spotted together in Madrid before another sighting in Paris fueled romance rumors. Neither addressed those reports publicly, causing fans to speculate.
Now comes Miami.
Unlike previous sightings, this wasn’t a grainy restaurant photo or anonymous eyewitness account. Fans watched videos of the pair arriving together, spending the evening together and leaving together.
