Kelly Osbourne has received an outpouring of support after sharing another deeply personal update on her grief journey following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.

The television personality took to Instagram on Tuesday to repost a poignant reflection on bereavement alongside the hashtags #LoveIsEternal and #OzzyForever, prompting hundreds of heartfelt messages from followers who said her words perfectly captured the pain of losing a parent.

Kelly has spoken candidly in recent months about navigating life without the Black Sabbath icon, previously admitting she was "not doing so great" as she continues to come to terms with her loss. She has also shared that returning to her farm in Iowa and spending time with her family has helped her heal.

Why Kelly says grief changes more than the person you lose

The emotional message explored the way grief transforms those left behind, beginning: "I don't just mourn the father I lost. I mourn the soul I was before death taught my heart its own name."

It went on to describe grief as something that "steals more than the person you love", explaining that it quietly takes away "the light from your laughter" and "the innocence from your hope".

One of the most poignant passages reflected on losing a part of yourself alongside the person you love.

"I miss who I was before my daddy died," the post read. "Before my heart became a home for absence."

It concluded by describing grief as leaving people "living as ghosts of the people we used to be."

Fans share their own experiences of loss

Kelly's post quickly struck a chord with followers, many of whom shared their own experiences of losing a parent.

"I lost my father two years ago and I haven't felt the same since," one person wrote. "No one prepares you for how much losing a parent changes you."

Another commented: "That's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. Lost my dad in 2012 so I know exactly what you mean."

A third added: "We'll never be the same person again. Feel embraced, dear Kelly. Your father changed lives forever."

Her latest tribute follows months of honest reflections

Kelly has never shied away from speaking openly about the realities of grief. Following Ozzy's death, she thanked fans for helping her through "the hardest moment" of her life, later admitting she would "not be OK for a while" as she learned to navigate life without him.
