As someone who trains hard in the gym, I often need to find additional protein sources for my diet that I can't get from my regular meals alone. So, like the average Joe Smhoe, I turned to protein powders and bars...And quickly had to turn away, because of how chalky it all is.
When I tried researching ways to incorporate these supplements, and still enjoying my food, I found the Reddit thread from /fitness30plus — "How do you guys eat your protein powder?"
While I hate that I'm so late to the game on these delicious ideas, I had to share the holy grail of all things protein goodness (to save your taste buds and muscle gains).

Coffee (cold brew, leftover, iced, hot, decaf, whatever-supposedly it's the compounds, not the caffeine), protein powder, collagen powder, electrolytes, and a little MCT or heavy cream (I'm a keto-er). I have it 20-30 minutes before a workout; it makes a big difference for me."
