Everything Kate Hudson does is so cool — and we mean that in every sense of the word. 

It’s been over a year since the actor-turned-singer rocked out on stage during her “very first festival performance,” but I’m still just as in love with her outfit today as I was the first time I saw it. For the event, she wore an off-the-shoulder crochet dress that I’m sure felt as nice and breezy as it looked. 

Her accessories were also center stage: She topped off the dress with a chunky belt from B-Low the Belt to show off her waistline and then added a pair of colorful glasses à la Penny Lane in Almost Famous (a few users even commented on this!).

Prettygarden Off- Shoulder Floral Lace Mini Dress

Even though sheer garments are everywhere right now, something with a slip, like this dress has, is non-negotiable for me. (I want breathability, but I don’t want my undergarments showing!) Plus, much like Hudson’s, this little number is also off-the-shoulder and has eyelet details that A) look similar to crochet patterns and B) will prevent overheating at the pool, on the patio, and more.

Oh, and the sleeves on this “very flattering and forgiving” dress? They “do not ride up,” according to one shopper, which is super helpful. Bonus: Taylor Swift and Chrissy Teigen have worn similar crochet dresses, too.

Werforu Leather Belt

Belts are one thing I never actually get around to buying, but they really do have the power to overhaul any outfit. Hudson’s strappy belt looks like it may even be two separate ones, so I’m using it to my advantage: I want both this vintage-looking belt and this studded one to go with it. Together, they’re only $36 and will long refresh my go-to jeans and T-shirt formula.

My sunglasses get thrown around quite a bit, so I don’t like to spend too much money on something that has a strong likelihood of either getting scratched, squashed, or lost.
