IA, NE, SD (KCAU) — Thanks to the passage of that cold front yesterday, Siouxland is about 10-20°F cooler today.
Highs this Tuesday are in the 70s to mid-80s with mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions, with wind gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon. Overnight lows will make for a cool start to tomorrow in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Scattered showers and mostly cloudy skies are expected tomorrow, keeping temps in the 70s for most, and rainfall totals at about a tenth of an inch to near half an inch. Accumulation increases the further southwest you travel.
More showers are expected Thursday and Thursday night into early Friday morning, with mostly cloudy skies that will keep temperatures in the 70s to low 80s for the remainder of the work week. Overnight lows will continue to be in the upper 50s to low 60s for this period, as well.
Skies begin clearing out Saturday and temps quickly jump back to the 90s, with upper 90s expected Sunday and Monday. Partly cloudy skies make a return Tuesday next week, and keep us a few degres cooler, in the low 90s throughout the week.
