The Dolphins have reached a new deal with one of their defensive cornerstones.
According to multiple reports, linebacker Jordyn Brooks has agreed to a three-year extension with the Dolphins. The contract is reportedly worth $51.3 million with $35 million guaranteed.
Brooks was previously headed into the final season of the three-year contract he signed with Miami in free agency back in 2024.
Brooks, 28, has started every game for Miami over the last two seasons. He led the league with 183 total tackles and 99 solo tackles in 2025, becoming a first-team All-Pro for the first time. He also had 13 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three passes defensed, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
The No. 27 overall pick in 2020, Brooks played his first four seasons for the Seahawks.
While the Dolphins have a new regime with G.M. Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley, they have now signed three key players to extensions this offseason in Aaron Brewer, De’Von Achane, and now Brooks.
