John Harbaugh appears to be struggling to acclimate with the New York Giants based on an early encounter with his new NFL team.
The former Super Bowl-winning head coach embarks on a new challenge in the NFC East this season. However, a viral clip from the Giants’ social media team is rubbing New York fans the wrong way.

New York’s TikTok account has caused an uproar amongst Giants supporters based on Harbaugh’s awkwardness in front of the players.
“I’m standing up here in front of the New York Giants,” Harbaugh said to his team. “The New York Giants. This is the New York Giants sitting in this room!”

There’s no question that Harbaugh remains one of the top NFL coaches in the game. However, his final years in Baltimore certainly proved that there may be some struggles when it comes to finding a way back to championship-level success.

It’s been over 14 years since Harbaugh’s lone Super Bowl title against his brother Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers. The Giants are still banking on the veteran coach to lead the team back to winning ways for the first time since Eli Manning.

New York’s roster certainly features exciting offensive pieces like Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers. Meanwhile, Harbaugh’s defensive prowess adds a level of anticipation for Giants fans with a talented group of young players on that side of the ball.

Harbaugh may need to rethink the way that he approaches his players in the future though to avoid humiliation.
Giants players are set to appear at training camp starting this week on July 23 with rookies. Meanwhile, the rest of the established New York players will join the group on July 28.
