The Red Sox did not end the streak due to Tuesday’s rainout and could break the record if they can sweep a day-night doubleheader. Boston ended Baltimore’s seven-game winning streak with Monday’s dramatic win. Now, the Red Sox play for a fifth consecutive series sweep as Jake Bennett, who hasn’t allowed a run over 13 innings in his previous two starts, takes the mound. The lefty also started the first game of the doubleheader last Friday against the Rays in Boston’s 10-0 win.

Here’s who the Red Sox will send to the plate behind him in Game 1 at Fenway. 

The Orioles counter with Dean Kremer. He makes just his sixth start of the season (4.15 ERA) after missing nearly three months with a right quadriceps strain.
