The Red Sox did not end the streak due to Tuesday’s rainout and could break the record if they can sweep a day-night doubleheader. Boston ended Baltimore’s seven-game winning streak with Monday’s dramatic win. Now, the Red Sox play for a fifth consecutive series sweep as Jake Bennett, who hasn’t allowed a run over 13 innings in his previous two starts, takes the mound. The lefty also started the first game of the doubleheader last Friday against the Rays in Boston’s 10-0 win.
