RTÉ star Bláthnaid Treacy has said she is' 'counting down the weeks' until she's in her new home - as she shares a sneak peek for fans.
Bláthnaid and her husband Charlie Moon have moved out of their Stoneybatter home in Dublin after 13 years, moving back in with Bláthnaid's family.
The family should be in their new home by the end of August, so it’s time to pack the boxes and bid farewell to the home she and Charlie shared for 13 years.
Now Bláthnaid has shared a sneak peek inside their new Wicklow home.
She said on social media: 'New house tour!
'We’re counting down the weeks now, god I hope I’m not jinxing anything now! Here’s a wee tour of the new house from a few months ago now, we’re doing the snag this week, then the floors, then moving in I guess! Is this real life?!?
'Can’t believe we’re leaving our beloved Stoneybatter, we’ve been in D7 for 13/14 years! But, we are so lucky and excited to move back to our home county, closer to family and the sea.
'Fingers crossed these next few weeks go as planned.'
Bláthnaid previously revealed why they are moving out of their Stoneybatter home, admitting life has 'changed so much' in recent times.
'We were lucky enough to buy our house in 2020, and we put everything into this place,' she said.
'We love it so much, but it’s not fit for purpose anymore, unfortunately. We’re literally bursting at the seams.'
She previously gave her reasons as to why she was moving back home.
'We’re both from Wicklow, so we knew we’d eventually move back. We want to be closer to our families; both our parents are in Wicklow, so it will be so much handier to have them nearby.
'We won’t know ourselves. We’ve lived in a two-bed, a pretty compact house, for so many years, but with the arrival of Jack, we’ve just outgrown it. We’ve loved Stoneybatter so much, but the house is closing in on top of us,' she added at the time.
