How to Get Paloxite in Palworld

Paloxite is the most valuable type of mineral in Palworld, and you'll have to take extra steps if you want to get some.

Paloxite is the final tier of mineral in Palworld, and it's used for making the absolute best gear in the game. To get some, you'll first need to unlock the World Tree map by beating and capturing a Panthalus. Then, you'll have to drink World Tree Holy Water, otherwise the big Paloxite crystals you'll find will vanish into thin air the moment you come close to them. Apart from these requirements, getting Paloxite in Palworldis as simple as finding the right nods and using the right mining tools on them, but if you're not sure what to do or where to go, here's a guide to help you out.

Palworld: Best Paloxite Locations

Paloxite can only be found inside the World Tree map, which you can access by capturing a Panthalus and riding off into the base of the big tree on Palpagos Islands. If you go there without a Panthalus, you won't be able to breach the force field that's keeping the World Tree's interior sealed from the outside world.

Once you get inside the World Tree, spotting Paloxite shouldn't be a problem. They stick out like sore thumbs in the environment with their bright colors. Personally, I like to check the center of the World Tree map and mine the Paloxite nodes that I find while flying around. You can find a cluster of three nodes close to one of the big, peach-colored crystals in the middle of the map.

You'll need the Plasma Multicutter to mine Paloxite. That, or a Pal with a high Mining Work Suitability.

World Tree Holy Water

If you or your Pals come near Paloxite in the World Tree, the node will disintegrate, preventing you from mining any ores. To prevent this, you need to drink some World Tree Holy Water. This consumable item drops in rather generous quantities when you defeat any of the Pals in the World Tree region. You can also find some inside chests and the random piles of salvage you can find in the area, along with Ancient Pal Spheres and other useful materials.

A single bottle of World Tree Holy Water will let you mine Paloxite and cut down Myth Wood for a few dozen seconds before the effect expires. You'll have to make your Pals drink holy water as well, otherwise, the resources you're trying to gather will disappear once your Pals get close to them.

Alternatively, try catching Pals with a World Tree passive. The latter will prevent materials like Paloxite and Myth Wood from disappearing even without having your Pal drink holy water.

Small chunks of Paloxite can sometimes be found on the ground, and they won't disappear even if you don't have the holy water effect active.

Paloxite Ingots

Paloxite Ingots can only be crafted using an Ancient Furnace, and you'll need Soralite Ingots and even more World Tree Holy Water to craft them. Keep in mind that Ancient Furnaces need both Fire and Ice Pals in order to function correctly, so make sure there's enough room for both Pal types in your base.
