“Apparently there’s another famous Darius,” Darius Walker realized then he recently received an upgrade at a hotel.
The ESPN college football analyst Walker shared a reel on Instagram, set to the ‘90s hit by Hootie & the Blowfish, “Only Wanna Be with You.” Walker wrote over the clip, “when the hotel accidentally upgrades you because they think you said Darius ‘Rucker.’” He added in his caption, “Apparently there’s another famous Darius… and today we both won 😂🤷🏾♂️”
“You’re welcome!! Hahhahahahhaha,” Rucker wrote in the comments. Walker replied, “The other Darius has entered the chat. I was not prepared for this. 😂 Welcome brother. I appreciate you!! 🙌🏾👏🏾”
Walker has since continued the lighthearted posts about the “other Darius,” including when he said, “Who is the other Darius? I did not expect this investigation to continue but here we are.” The ESPN analyst said he’s “not entirely sure how I feel” about the “other Darius,” known for being “handsome, charismatic, and people absolutely love him,” Walker narrated. “Now he’s impacting my life. In another vide, Walker says he’s a “legit Darius,” but “I’m starting to feel like the other Darius is winning.” He poked fun at the post about the hotel upgrades, Rucker’s response, commenters talking about the country star’s accomplishments, commenters who thought his name was “Hootie” before he went solo, and more.
