LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Robert Pattinson has shared a funny anecdote from the set of 'The Odyssey' as he worked alongside Matt Damon, Zendaya, Elliot Page, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o, and Anne Hathaway.

The 40-year-old actor will be seen as Antinous in the epic drama while Damon plays Odysseus.

Robert Pattinson recalls hearing Matt Damon screaming in his trailer

During a recent MTV interview, Pattinson recalled overhearing Damon "screaming and screaming and screaming" in his trailer, making him think the 55-year-old was "a complete psycho."

"There's a thing which Matt did when we were shooting something and he was in the trailer next to me and he was making these noises in the trailer," the 'Twilight' star revealed.

Robert Pattinson thought Matt Damon was having a 'really bad toilet experience'

Disclosing further, he noted, "I thought he was on the phone and I'm like, 'He's a complete psycho'. He's just like, screaming and screaming and screaming. And I'm like, 'Either you're having a really bad toilet experience or like…'"

But in reality, as per Pattinson, the 'Good Will Hunting' actor was "blowing his voice out" so that his on screen character sounded older in Christopher Nolan's movie.

However, this was not the only incident that proved Damon's dedication to his work.

The 'Batman' actor talked about a scene where 'The Martian' actor's character was yelling for his life while tied up on a ship. "Seeing him on the mast, I'm like, 'Geez, you're really, you're taking years off of your life doing this.' It's impressive," Pattinson added.

Matt Damon says Christopher Nolan warned the cast about filming

Meanwhile, in another interview, Damon himself spoke about the hard work the movie's cast put in. He also praised Nolan for taking on the toughest job on set and compared the filmmaker to "a drowned rat."

During the July 12 episode of 'Sunday Sitdown,' the father of four said, "Directing is by far the hardest job on set."

"When you're out there kind of in the middle of a storm and you're soaked and you're cold and you're like, 'Man, I'm in discomfort right now,' it is helpful to turn and see the person with the harder job ... looking like a drowned rat, just as cold, just as wet, and never complaining," he added.

Damon also shared in the same interview that he was warned by Nolan before filming began.

"He was like, 'This movie's gonna be hard.' And I looked at him like, 'I've made, I don't know 80 movies.' And he goes, 'No… This movie's gonna be really hard.' He, to his credit, was not lying," he stated.
