Less than two weeks after celebrating her 15th birthday, David and Victoria Beckham’s youngest child is reportedly starting her own business venture. According to The Sun, Harper Beckham is following in her mom’s stilettos with the planned launch of her very own beauty brand.
Harper—whom David and Victoria welcomed on July 10, 2011—has reportedly had her sights set on becoming a future tycoon after being inspired by her mom’s reinvention as a fashion and beauty figure in the industry. “This has long been a dream of Harper’s. It has all been driven and led by her,” a source claimed about the teen, who was recently spotted wearing a pink slip dress seemingly designed by Victoria at David Beckham’s Walk of Fame star ceremony in June.
The publication reported that the brand will be called “Harlo by Harper,” a moniker that the high school student has had in mind “for a while.”
Victoria has had several products from Victoria Beckham Beauty become viral sensations—including the brand’s Color Wash Tint, Blush Stylus, and Satin Kajal Liner. But Harper’s products will reportedly be tailored towards “Gen Z and her own Gen Alpha clients.” Amid stiff competition from fellow celebrity beauty brands, the teen reportedly hopes to differentiate herself with formulas “inspired by South Korean cosmetics—a ginormous industry in its own right,” a source claims.
While Harper and her parents have yet to comment on or confirm their daughter’s rumored career move, a source told The Sun that Victoria and David are encouraging her with her venture.
“David and Victoria are obviously supportive and very proud. This isn’t a Brand Beckham thing, though. It is very much a Brand Harper thing,” the insider claimed, noting that Harper has already dabbled with beauty products on social media. They added, “After all; she has been doing online tutorials and is an absolute natural in front of the camera.”
They didn’t clarify whether Harlo by Harper will be offering cosmetics, skincare products, or a mix of both, but claimed that the paperwork needed to move the project forward has been “signed and sealed.”
