Hamas terror attack survivor in Israel slams Zohran Mamdani over 'dangerous' Netanyahu video

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A survivor of the Hamas terror attack on Israel's Nova music festival has sharply criticized New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani over his latest video calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "war criminal."

In a video shared on Wednesday, July 22, Mazal Tazazo said she was "shocked" by Mamdani's remarks and invited him to visit Israel to hear firsthand accounts from those affected by the October 7 attack.

Her response came a day after Mamdani released a video saying Netanyahu should be arrested if he visits New York for the United Nations General Assembly in September.

In the video shared by radio host Jason Rantz on X, Tazazo said Mamdani's comments deeply troubled her.

"I was shocked today when I saw that video. It's so dangerous," she said.

Responding to Mamdani's description of the war, Tazazo rejected his characterization of the conflict.

"What's happening there is not ge**cide. People died. Yes, this is a war. It's very sad. But why? Because the ter**rists hide behind their people," she said, referencing statements from the

Israel Defense Forces that Hamas uses civilian buildings as cover for military activity.

Tazazo then extended a direct invitation to the mayor. "If you want to really want to understand what's going on here, so come," she said. "I'm Mazal Tazazo, nice to meet you, survivor of the Nova. You can come to Israel, nobody gonna arrest you, OK? You can come to Israel and hear my story and hear the story of Israel and go around the place."

Rantz later wrote on X that Tazazo had "absolutely unloaded on Zohran Mamdani for threatening to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu."

Zohran Mamdani says Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested if he visits New York

In his own video posted on X on Tuesday, July 21, Mamdani said his administration had examined whether New York City could enforce an International Criminal Court arrest warrant against Netanyahu.

"My administration has reviewed every avenue available under applicable law to determine whether New York City could execute the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant if Benjamin Netanyahu came here," Mamdani said.

He added, "It is clear that we do not have the independent legal authority to enforce this warrant. The federal government, however, does, and I call on them to join the ICC and execute this warrant."

Mamdani also accused Netanyahu of being "the architect of a horrific ge**cide against the Palestinian people."

In the same message, Mamdani made a series of allegations against Netanyahu, claiming he was responsible for "the killing of more than 73,000 people."

He also accused the Israeli prime minister of targeting neonatal hospitals and maternity care centers and blocking food and humanitarian aid from reaching civilians.
