West Virginia placed five players on the 2027 Shriners Children’s East-West Bowl 1000 watch list, a preseason recognition that highlights many of the top NFL Draft prospects across college football.
The Mountaineers were represented by running back Cam Cook, defensive lineman Zeke Durham-Campbell and offensive linemen Wes King, Nick Krahe and Landen Livingston.
Cook enters his first season at West Virginia after a standout career at Jacksonville State. The 5-foot-9, 202-pound running back led all FBS players with 1,659 rushing yards and scored 16 touchdowns on 295 carries in 2025 while adding 286 receiving yards. A preseason All-Big 12 selection and Doak Walker Award semifinalist, Cook is expected to play a major role in Rich Rodriguez’s offense.
Durham-Campbell also arrives in Morgantown with plenty of production after transferring from Coastal Carolina. The 6-foot-4, 254-pound edge rusher earned All-Sun Belt honors last season after recording 42 tackles, 8 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks while forcing two fumbles in 13 starts.
The offensive line accounted for three of West Virginia’s selections.
King transferred from Wyoming after starting all 12 games at left guard in 2025 and brings significant experience with 33 career starts between guard and center. He did not allow a sack during his career with the Cowboys and is expected to strengthen the interior of the offensive line.
Krahe returns after starting all 12 games at tackle last season, logging 873 snaps while earning Academic All-Big 12 honors. The 6-foot-6, 316-pound lineman is once again expected to be a key piece of the Mountaineers’ front.
Livingston rounds out the list after starting 11 games at center in 2025. The veteran offensive lineman played 766 snaps last season and gives West Virginia another experienced option in the middle of the offensive line heading into the 2026 season.
The East-West Bowl 1000 watch list serves as an early look at players who could eventually earn invitations to the postseason all-star event as they continue to build their NFL resumes.
