Sacramento Fire crews responded to a rooftop fire at a third-floor apartment in downtown Sacramento around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The fire happened on E Street near 14th Street. A large emergency response was dispatched to the scene as firefighters worked to put out the flames.
Cleanup was underway following the fire. Fire officials add a sprinkler head activation in the primary unit caused severe water damage to two floors.
Fire officials say there were no injuries.
