The 35-year-old rapper, born Willie Maxwell II, and his partner Alexis are now engaged.
The bride-to-be announced their new relationship status in an Instagram post on Monday, July 20. “I said yes,” she captioned a post that included photos and videos of the romantic night.
The carousel began with a snap of her proudly showing off her ring in front of a sign that reads, “Will you marry me?” The neon sign is surrounded by a pink, heart-shaped flower display.
The post continues with a snap of her and Fetty Wap kissing in front of the display. Alexis is seen holding a bouquet of pink roses while they wrap their arms around each other. More of the engagement scene is revealed in the photo as they stand on top of pink rose petals. They are also surrounded by vases of pink roses and elegant white candles.
For the special occasion, Fetty Wap wore a white shirt and white pants, as well as a tan, green and red hat. Meanwhile, Alexis opted for a long black body-con dress with black heels.
Next, there’s a video of the fiancée accepting roses from loved ones while walking onto the scene with Fetty Wap. Another video shows the “Wake Up” rapper down on one knee during the proposal and Alexis bending down to kiss him.
The engagement ring appears to have a silver band and a square-cut diamond.
Many people shared their congratulations to the couple in the comments section. NE-YO’s girlfriend Arielle Hill wrote, “I’m gonna go cry in a corner now! Congrats girlfriend.”

Alexis also shared some additional messages to her Instagram Stories, including one of her displaying a ring while on a video call.
“It’s a wife! Congrats to my sister & Fetty. You both deserve. I have enjoyed every second of this story from the jump. Ahh I’m in tears,” the caption read.
The couple tends to keep their private life on wraps. It is unclear when they started dating.
Fetty was previously linked to model Alexis Skyy, reality TV star Masika Kalysha and model Leandra Gonzalez. He is the father of six kids, one of whom died in 2021.
The rapper released his fourth studio album Zavier in March, just months after he served three years in prison.
