The Corvette Dream Giveaway, presented by Wildfire Lifts, is offering a beautifully restored 1965 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible as one of two grand prizes. Finished in Ermine White over a red interior with a black convertible top, the car has undergone a frame-off restoration to show condition and is recognized as a Bloomington Gold Special Collection car.

Power comes from Chevrolet's 396-cubic-inch big-block V-8, producing 425 horsepower and paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and Positraction rear axle. The 1965 model year marked the introduction of big-block power and four-wheel disc brakes to America's sports car, a milestone that collectors still prize today. This example is further dressed with sought-after details including quick take-off wheels, redline tires and a telescopic steering column.

WIN HERE

The Sting Ray shares the spotlight with a second grand prize, a 2026 Corvette Z06 Stars and Steel Limited Edition Coupe, giving one winner two very different eras of Corvette performance. Dream Giveaway is also covering $76,000 toward federal prize taxes and adding a Wildfire Lift to the package, with proceeds supporting veterans' and children's charities.

Entries are open now and Modern Car Collector readers who enter during that window receive five times the standard number of entries. Enter the Corvette Dream Giveaway here.

Lamborghini has put wool in a supercar, and unlike most Goodwood show-car theater, this one comes with actual ownership consequences. Two one-off Temerarios built by the Ad Personam department made their public debut at this year's Festival of Speed, both riffing on the same idea: a super sports car dressed by a Milanese tailor. Fine graphic lines run across the bodywork, meant to look like the construction marks a designer scratches onto a...

McLaren F1 GTR prototype 10R heads to Monterey with a $35 million ask

Nick Mason is selling the loudest McLaren F1 ever painted, and the number attached to it is the largest ever asked for a car from Woking. RM Sotheby's has consigned chassis 10R to its Monterey sale, running 13–15 August 2026 at the Monterey Conference Center, with a published guide of "Value In Excess Of $35,000,000." No high estimate, no low estimate. That phrasing is auction-house shorthand for a car with no meaningful comparable sales, which...
