Ella Langley has been gracing stages across the country this summer, as she continues to open for Morgan Wallen on his “Still the Problem” tour and headline her own sold-out “Dandelion” tour. And while her voice and compelling storytelling are the main attractions, we’d be remiss if we didn’t take a moment for her onstage fashion.
The Alabama native has been bringing her breezy boho fashion to the stage, with oversize sleeves, fringe, and boots with sky-high heels (and we didn’t forget her all-leather moment at CMA Fest). But this weekend in Baltimore, an onstage wardrobe malfunction forced her to get a bit creative.
Fans in attendance at M&T Bank Stadium, home to the Baltimore Ravens, noticed that the singer covered up her stunning magenta dress with a purple Ravens jersey early on in her set. Ella later explained the swap on her Instagram story—and it wasn’t about fashion.
The next day, after she had dried off and changed into a comfy pink T-shirt, Ella wrote, “Yesterday my entire dress came unzipped on song #2 in a 60 minute set in the pouring down rain in a stadium full of people.” She paired the post with the song “Wonderful” by Stone Temple Pilots.
TikToker MusicMakesTheWorldGoRound shared videos from the concert, including some clips of Ella in the jersey with her name on the back. “Quick fix for a zipper malfunction— L♥️VE me some Ella,” one commenter wrote. Another said, “It actually looked really cute over that dress. Ella can make literally anything fashionable.”
Ella’s tour continues through October, with dates from West Virginia to California. Fans have plenty of opportunities to see her shine onstage.
