The Newtown Police Department urged any witnesses to the single-vehicle crash to contact the department.
NEWTOWN — An “elderly male driver" was killed in a Newtown crash Tuesday, according police.
The single-vehicle crash down an embankment off Mt. Pleasant Hill Road closed that road near Sawmill Road, according to police, who had said Tuesday that police, fire and EMS personnel responded the the scene.
The Newtown Police Department urged any witnesses to the crash to contact the department.
No further information on the crash was immediately available Wednesday morning.
