The bruised right hand of President Trump was in full view on Friday at a FIFA event in New York, sparking further health fears for the U.S. leader.
“The FIFA Peace Prize winner is taking part in a ceremony with Gianni -- and that right hand of his is looking pretty rough,” wrote journalist Aaron Rupar on X.
The 80-year-old president spoke about football with the FIFA president Gianni Infantino by his side, as the World Cup draws to an end. During the event, however, it was hard not to notice the makeup covering his hand, something that is often seen on Trump's hand to try to conceal the bruising.
It comes as the daughter of Trump's doctor made a bombshell claim about his health.

“How long until Trump starts wearing gloves every time he is in public?” one person remarked, while another replied, “It is really swollen.”
Additionally, Trump made a series of strange remarks during the appearance, bringing up his controversial complaint about the US team's red card.
“You had unforgettable moments. Probably the most unforgettable is when they gave a gentleman — is it a red card? And I was forced to call Gianni and just make a recommendation… I said I’d like to wage a complaint,“ he said, adding, “It was so much better the way it worked out because there was no controversy.”
The president was also seen with makeup on his hand during his election rant speech at the White House a day earlier, where he railed against “rigged elections” while citing no evidence.
The bruising on the top of Trump’s right hand has been attributed to frequent handshaking, his chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), and use of aspirin, according to the White House.
The president takes a higher-than-recommended dosage of aspirin, at 325 milligrams daily, and has done so for the last 25 years to keep his blood thin. This is despite doctors advising him to be put on a lower dosage.
In January, Trump told The Wall Street Journal, “They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart. I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”
He added that he takes “about 10 seconds” to apply makeup on the hand to hide the bruising. However, the makeup is often very visible.
White House press secretary Kaoline Leavitt has previously explained that Trump's hand bruising is from "tissue damage from frequent handshaking".
Due to his condition, Trump claimed he tried compression socks to treat the mild lower leg and ankle swelling as a result of CVI, but stopped using them because he didn’t like them. He now avoids sitting for long periods. It comes as Trump's health concerns grow as a new photo shows 'something wrong' with the president.
