Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson, who designed Taylor Swift's wedding dress, has described it as a "dream come true" to be bringing Dior to Irish shores.
Anderson created Swift and Travis Kelce's bespoke Christian Dior Haute Couture wedding ensembles for her star-studded ceremony at New York City's Madison Square Garden earlier this month.
The iconic fashion house will present its Fall 2027 Show at Trinity College Dublin in December, marking the first time the Northern Ireland-born designer will showcase a collection on home turf — and the first time Dior itself will have staged a show in the Emerald Isle.

The collection will be unveiled against the stunning backdrop of the university's Old Library, an 18th-century architectural masterpiece that houses one of the world's most celebrated cultural institutions.
County Derry native Jonathan Anderson was appointed creative director of Dior's women's, men's, and haute couture collections last year.
Having previously founded his own JW Anderson label and transformed Loewe into one of fashion's most powerful luxury brands, Anderson has firmly cemented his status as one of the industry's most influential figures.
Announcing the highly anticipated show, he said: "Showing at Trinity College Dublin is a dream come true. I began my career in fashion in Dublin, so returning here feels deeply personal," reports Belfast Live.
He continued, "To present this collection in such an extraordinary setting — at an institution with such an important cultural history — is a real honor."
The announcement imagery features a shamrock alongside a quote from Dublin-born Carmel Snow, editor-in-chief of the American edition of Harper's Bazaar from the 1930s to 1950s.
It reads, "It's quite a revolution, dear Christian. Your dresses have such a new look."

Meanwhile, the Irish designer's father acknowledged that the gown, which remains under wraps, was so "hush-hush" that even his own family hadn't been granted a peek.
Rugby legend Willie Anderson revealed he only learned his son was behind the design on the day of Swift's final fitting.
Noting that his son had signed a non-disclosure agreement, he told the Sunday Independent, "It was completely hush-hush, but he rang to say he was going to do the fitting and we just couldn't believe it.
"We're both very emotional now, I must say, and we're waiting for it now to see it. Hopefully, it'll come up on Instagram. It's an unbelievable surprise. We've become 'Swifties' overnight."
