Firefighters put out a fire in a capacitor bank on top of a roof in Northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Firefighters put out a fire in a capacitor bank on top of a roof in Northwest D.C. on Wednesday.

DC Fire and EMS were called to the 2100 block of N St. for reports of smoke showing from a transformer bank on the roof of a two-story electrical substation.

Fire was extinguished in a capacitor bank, and it did not extend to any nearby buildings.
