Georgia has one of the easiest schedules in the SEC this season. In fact, ESPN went as far as to rank it the easiest in the entire conference.
Just because it is "easy" compared to everyone else in the conference doesn't mean their schedule is a cake walk. The SEC typically has 16 of the most difficult schedules in the entire country, so all things considered Georgia will still face an enormous challenge in front of them this year.
That is especially the case in the middle of their season when they have to survive one of the most difficult four game stretches in the country. This stretch begins with a road game at Alabama in week six and ends with another road trip to Ole Miss in week 10, and sandwiched in the middle are two rivals who are yearning for a victory over Georgia.

Week 8: Bye
Week 9: Florida (Atlanta)
Week 10: @ Ole Miss
One four game stretch will make or break Georgia's season
Outside of this four game stretch Georgia's schedule is relatively manageable. In fact, there's a good chance they will win all eight of their other games outside of their only other big test at home against Oklahoma in week four.
Assuming Georgia wins all eight of those games though, this four game stretch will define their season. Alabama and Ole Miss obviously are capable of beating Georgia this year. Not only did they both do it last year but Georgia has to play them on the road, that could be a recipe for disaster.
Georgia however should on paper be much better than both Auburn and Florida, but in rivalry games that usually doesn't matter. They both have new head coaches and are hungry to finally taste what victory over Georgia tastes like again, so they will give Georgia their best shot. Thankfully Auburn is at home and Florida is in Atlanta.
What should fans expect during Georgia's most difficult stretch of the season?
Georgia is expected to win every game, and that won't be any different this year even during this difficult stretch. But that doesn't mean the season is a failure if they do happen to drop a game.
Likely no one will panic if Georgia drops a game to Alabama or Ole Miss, but losing to both would be concerning. On top of that, losing to Auburn or Florida would be really bad even if they will be tough to beat simply because they are Georgia's rivals.
But Georgia can't afford to lose two of these games. If they do then they more than likely won't make the SEC Championship game and won't be able to lose another game before they are officially out of the College Football Playoff.
Fans should expect Georgia to win all four of these games, but no one should be upset with a 3-1 record either. But this is Georgia, they are capable of going 12-0 this year and that should undeniably be the goal. They are one of the favorites in the SEC for a reason, so they better act like it.
