In addition to being easy, any brand cake mix works! Whether you get a generic brand or that special cake mix you prefer, these will be great. Today we are trying a lemon cake mix, and it was delicious! Great for parties, gift-giving, and certainly those cookie exchange get-togethers during the holiday. You can make all the different flavors in half the time, baking them all from scratch!
Doctored Cake Mixes are a fun, easy treat and perfect for teaching children to bake and help in the kitchen for a fun family project. During any holiday baking season, these can also be sprinkled with coordinating colorful candied sprinkles to make the theme a festive look. Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies
- 1 - box 15.25 ounces of any brand of lemon cake mix or another flavor you prefer
- 1 8-ounce tub of frozen and thawed whipped topping
- 2 eggs
- powdered sugar, around 2 cups
Easy Instructions:
- Mix the cake mix (any of your choice in flavor) with the eggs and thawed whipped topping. Freeze this dough wrapped for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into ball,s then in powdered sugar, place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- The cookies should be stored in an airtight container after cooling.
Optional: mix in 1 cup of the following:
- chocolate chips
- coconut
- nuts
- raisins
- craisins
- dried fruits
- maraschino cherries
- chopped candy bars
- funfetti sprinkles
