WNBA star Caitlin Clark received another notable recognition as the Indiana Fever prepare to face the Connecticut Sun.

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever enter the week on the back of consecutive victories, defeating the Seattle Storm 110-107 before following it up with a 108-88 win over the New York Liberty. The two victories improved Indiana to 15-10, keeping the Fever sixth in the WNBA standings.

Clark was at the center of both wins after recently returning from a back injury. She made her comeback against the Golden State Valkyries before playing both ends of a back-to-back against Seattle and New York.

Against the Storm, Clark delivered a career-best 45 points and 10 assists, becoming the first player in WNBA history to record a 40-point, 10-assist game. She also became the fastest player in league history to reach 200 career three-pointers, helping silence doubts after her injury layoff.

Clark and the Fever will return to action on Wednesday for a matchup against Brittney Griner and the Connecticut Sun. Ahead of that game, Clark received another major individual honor after her standout week.

Clark was named the Associated Press Player of the Week after averaging 25.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists. The Fever celebrated the award on social media after the announcement.

Clark has played 22 games this season, averaging a career-high 20.7 points alongside 7.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds. She’s also having the most efficient season of her WNBA career, shooting 42.8% from the field.

Her performance has once again earned her a third WNBA All-Star honor, and she was selected as a starter for the upcoming game.

The Fever and Sun are scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
