Guests can nibble from artisan charcuterie boards and stroll the open-air Sun Porch with craft cocktails in hand at the annual Taste of the Mediterranean event at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, according to a news release.
The outdoor all-ages event, which celebrates the vibrant culture and cuisine of the Mediterranean, takes place Saturday, Sept. 26, according to a news release.
Guests may also see a live performance from Vittorio Di Carlo, known as the "The Graceful Tenor," an Italian-American pop-opera and classical crossover singer, singing Neapolitan classics, alongside popular American crossover hits like Frank Sinatra's "My Way," according to DiCarlo's Facebook page. Small plates for $5 will be offered allowing attendees to sample an assortment of bites from local restaurants and specialty vendors serving authentic Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and freshly prepared regional specialties. Full menu options are available, according to the release.
