BROOKEVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — A crash in Brookeville on Wednesday morning caused fuel to leak from a truck’s tank.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded to the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Gold Mine Road around 8:50 a.m. for a crash with a reported entrapment.
Officials said that the crash involved two vehicles, including a truck. The driver who was trapped was able to get themselves out.
The crash caused the truck’s saddle tank to leak.
One adult was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
