Battlefield 6Season 4 has arrived, so break out the sunscreen, load your attack boats, and get ready to fight across a tropical island resort. This update not only introduces naval warfare to this entry but adds a bunch of new cosmetics and weapons for players to chase after.
Of course, the three new firearms are the biggest chase this season, as there are three weapons you can get right away, with a fourth being added during the mid-season update. So if you want to use all the new guns, here is how to unlock them and some tips to speed up the process.
How To Unlock All Season 4 Weapons
When it comes to unlocking all the weapons in Season 4, you can currently obtain three of the four guns that were just added. These are the VSSM, EF88, and Brod 3, with the Interdictor sniper rifle being added later in the season. Similar to the previous seasons, these three firearms are tied to the Battle Pass and can only be unlocked by making progress through the different paths available.
You do not need to buy the Battle Pass to unlock just the guns. They are all free.
Broken up across five separate reward paths, players will need to finish the Recruit path to gain access to the other four. Once this happens, you can pick one of the two paths that contain the EF88 and Brod 3 as a reward. Both the Ancient Wave and Great Fury reward paths do not contain any new weapons and solely offer cosmetic unlocks.
Which one you start with after the Recruit path is entirely up to you, so here is a breakdown of where to find each of the three guns in the Battle Pass.
To level up your Battle Pass, you will need to earn Battle Pass Points. Every level in each of the paths requires 10 Battle Pass Points to unlock, or you have to spend 150 Battle Coins if you just want to spend actual money. So if you want to unlock four levels, you'll need 40 Battle Pass Points. It will take you a total of 270 points if you want to only unlock all three weapons for Season 4 and nothing else.
There are a couple of ways to earn Battle Pass points, with the most common (and efficient) method being completing Daily and Weekly Challenges. Found in the "Challenges" menu, these are different optional objectives you can complete while playing the game to earn either a large amount of experience or several Battle Pass Points.
For example, one of the Weekly Challenges I completed is to resupply 30 teammates in any mode. Completing this will instantly earn me 5 Battle Pass Points, which will be put towards whichever path I currently have active. There are a total of 11 challenges available this week, with more being added each subsequent week for you to complete. Don't worry if you cannot finish them all within seven days, as previous Weekly Challenges are active for the entirety of Season 4.
Daily Challenges are essentially the same, but rotate every day and reward 5,000 experience each. Unlike Weekly Challenges, if you do not complete a Daily Challenge before the reset time expires, then you won't be able to continue making progress towards it. Because of this, always prioritize Daily Challenges first, since their availability is finite.
The other method for earning Battle Pass Points is just by playing the game and getting experience. At the end of each match, you'll earn a specific amount of XP based on how you performed. XP is earned from getting kills, completing objectives, or just supporting your team in general. You don't need to get a ton of kills to earn a lot of experience, as reviving teammates or spotting enemies with the Recon class' drone are great ways to rack up a ton of XP during a match.
To earn even more experience, you can use an XP Boost. This is selected by picking the "XP Boost" tab on the right side when you're selecting a mode on the main menu. From there, pick any of the options available in the Battle Pass column to instantly apply this experience bonus for the set duration of time. If you have a lot of these, it's a good way to quickly zoom through the Battle Pass and earn all three of the new weapons right away.
Finally, you can purchase a single Battle Pass level by spending 150 Battle Coins. However, unless you're really desperate to unlock these guns as fast as possible, I don't recommend this method. Between challenges and match experience, anyone just playing the game can easily earn these weapons before the season ends.
