According to investigators, a man wearing a blue polo entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon and fled with cash.

ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway after a man robbed a bank in Crystal City on Tuesday, police said.

In a post on the social platform X just minutes after 12:30 p.m., the Arlington County Police Department said the robbery took place at a bank in the 1400 block of S. Eads Street. This is where the Bank of America is located.

According to investigators, a man wearing a blue polo entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon and fled with cash.

Police said the man appears to be in his 30s, and that, at this time, it is unclear how much money he took.
