ANF, Hosea Helps team up for back-to-school drive

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Atlanta News First is giving back to the community by partnering with Hosea Helps for a back-to-school donation drive.

The goal is to ensure students from low-income families have the supplies and tools they need to succeed classroom.

You can donate various school supplies or make financial contributions at Hosea Helps headquarters in Atlanta.

It all leads up to Hosea Helps’ Back-to-School Jamboree happening on Saturday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kids who show up will get a free book bag filled with school supplies. Also on site, there will be fresh food, health screenings and more available for families.

Items needed

• Laptops
• Calculators
• 8X10 in Sketch pads
• Crayon, pencil, sharpener. Colored pencils, scissors, rulers
• Reams of paper
• Paper towels
• Rolling bookbags
• Clorox Cleaning Wipes
• writing utensils (pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters)
• organization tools (binders, folders, notebooks, planner)
• utility items (glue sticks, scissors, pencil pouch)
