A new crop of WWE hopefuls will soon come together.
The next round of WWE tryouts will take place in the midst of 2026 SummerSlam festivities, which is set for next week in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Several familiar names have confirmed their participation so far, including MLW World Tag Team Champion Josh Bishop and American Gladiators star J-Rod.
Both announced their invitations on social media, with Bishop noting that he was ready to show why he is “the man.” J-Rod, also a former OVW Women’s Champion, exclaimed “LET’S GO!”
Additional names expected at the tryout are Nightmare Factory graduate Brooke Havoc, former
West Coast Pro Heavyweight Champion Titus Alexander, and the Reality of Wrestling Women’s Champion Monica Monroe. WrestleZone’s Ella Jay spoke with Monica Monroe earlier this year about her training with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and current title reign.

- Oxx Adams
- Nate Prince

Figures from outside the world of pro wrestling have been invitees to participates in the upcoming WWE tryout as well. This includes former Michigan State track and field thrower Elly Finch, Bodybuilder and amateur wrestler Tayleigh Robertson, and model Iris Reese. This will mark Finch’s second tryout this year, having previously partaken in one at the WWE Performance Center in January.
WWE SummerSlam will emanate from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 1 and 2.
