Some Social Security recipients will receive payments today, according to the Social Security Benefit Payments calendar.
Today's payment is the third and final round of Social Security payments for July. Recipients with a birth date between the 21st and the 31st will receive a Social Security check.
Social Security benefits are paid monthly to retired or older individuals, individuals with a disability and more. The full list of those who are eligible to receive Social Security benefits can be found on the Social Security Administration's website.
Payments are typically scheduled to be sent to eligible recipients on Wednesdays.
Those with a birth date between the 1st and the 10th should have received their Social Security checks on July 8, while those born between the 11th and the 20th should have received their payments on July 21.
Recipients who did not receive their payments on the expected dates should allow three additional mailing days before contacting Social Security.
Those who did not receive their payments should contact their banks or financial institutions first, as they may be experiencing a delay in posting a payment. Recipients who still need to report a late, missing or stolen Social Security payment can call 1-800-772-1213 or contact their local Social Security office.
Officials will review the case and if the payment is due, they will replace it, according to the Social Security Administration's website.
